Is it better than tap water ?
My refrigerator / freezer has a cold water and ice dispenser . It dispenses cold water, crushed ice, and ice cubes . I don't really need a cold water and ice cube dispenser . I can get cold water by turning on the faucet on my kitchen sink, I hardly ever need crushed ice, and the freezer makes so many ice cubes that the ice cube dispenser gets blocked . When the ice cube dispenser gets "unblocked", I have ice cubes all over my kitchen floor . I really hate my ice cube dispenser . I'd actually have better luck with an ice cube tray full of water . My friend Eileen says the water from the cold water and ice dispenser on a refrigerator / freezer is purified so she prefers it to tap water . Is she right ? As far as I can imagine, it's the same old water, whether it comes from a faucet or from a cold water dispenser . Is the water from a refrigerator's cold water dispenser purified ? Is it any better than ordinary tap water ? Can anyone give me the real story ? Thank you in advance for your answers .
