Why is this article saying this woman who killed herself and her kid is a hearbreaking tragedy when if she?

It's heart breaking because the kid is innocent. If she wanted to die, so sad, she could have killed her self and not many people would care. The fact that she was a coward and had to kill her kid too is the tragic part. Any innocent life lost is a tragedy.
