What were your thought on the Hunger Games Trilogy?

I liked the first one the most. Most action, and to me the most emotion. The other two weren't as good as the first, but it actually surprised as how it all ended. Katniss with Peeta? I had hoped Gale would have stayed as the Uncle or something, since he was like family to Katniss but he left. And I didn't know there was a cast already. Where did you read that?
