If i recieve a pancreas transplant can i join the army?

I have Type 1 diabetes.. and i wanted to join the military, i just found out that im not aloud because of my diabetes. i was wondering if i got a pancreas transplant would i be able to join the Marines? or is it just not worth it and find a job in a "similiar" line of work.
