Should I put my dog to sleep :( please read?

i have never had a bichion, so i wouldnt really know... but i think that you have to look at the comfort of your dog before yourself. i had a chihuaha mix when i was younger, that had a bad back. it was either surgery or get it put to sleep, and my parents helped me get through the desicion of putting it to sleep, due to the fact that it would have a sore back for the rest of its life after surgery, which was also very expensive. i also think that a vet wouldnt recommend putting the animal to sleep unless it was really a painful experience. not only because they love animals but because of the money he would be sacrificing by not giving your dog a surgery. all in all it is up to you, and the desicion will be a hard one either way...i am a dog lover and understand what you must be going through. but also being a dog lover i am not going to do whatever it takes for my dog to stay alive. im not the type of person who would rather have a dog that suffers than have my dog put to sleep...i guess this is a good oppertunity to find out what kind of person you are. hope this help~
