So lonely without friends. :-(?

I have been alone with out friends for about my whole entire life. I Had some small friends but i was always the second friend or just the second option and it was a short friendship. I only have 2 girls I talk to now and they are usually busy with their best friends or are never here for me when I need them I usually only see them once a month. It seems like when they are with me they use me and want me to buy everything for them when they have money and drive them around which I have no problem doing but I dont like the feelign of beng used. Honestly there is nothing wrong with me I love making people laugh I am entergetic I am always there for the ones I love. I just feel a big emptiness inside of me, I only have my mom and she is always busy and isn't that much intimate with me we never hug or anything or talk about these things. My seemly impossibile question is where do I go from here I tried going alone to events to find friends it back fired and I ended up more lonely. I have tried meeting ppl from facebook no luck... What should I do to find a good friend or just a friend at all. :( Or at least can anyone tell they are going through the same it will help just to know I am not alone :(
