Would it be okay or safe to name your son Judas?

I have this idea of naming my future son a biblical name, one of the disciples, except its Judas the traitor of jesus. I love the sound of it and want to redeem the name, by raising a son with good morals so he can bring the name in good standing with everybody. Is it safe to do that, would christians be offended, would bad luck befall him or me? And if okay, which sounds better the English version Judas or the original hebrew version Yehuda?
